I attribute that to LB's being over their head.

9th Wonder is only producing like 2 tracks on the new album. He is so busy with mainstream production shit that when he gave beats to Phonte & Pooh were like what the hell is this. They said they got better shit from other producers so I don't think that 9th Wonder is going to be a part of LB for much longer or they will turn into something else and they may get dropped from their label soon.

What is your source for this info? I thought the only "mainstream" production he did was for Lloyd Banks, who else is he producing for?

I don't blame them for changing it up with some different production though, people are bound to complain that their sound is becoming repetitive so maybe this was a smart move on their part. We will just have to wait and see.

Little Brother is nice. Ministrel Show is average. Some tracks stand above others, 9th's production on this was what I expected actually...I like most of his side projects as well. I have one of 9th's beat tapes, I listen to it frequently.

"Phineaus"...hmm, I don't watch the Simpson's. But sounds like something from the Simpsons...

The Listening instrumentals sound 100% (Maury style - One THOUSAND percent) better than the actual album.

simplified? If so I don't know but I will admit that alot of 9ths more recent work isn't swaying me in a positive direction and I know I'll sound like an example of genric 9th beat hater but I really wish he wouldnt use the drums hes been using as of late, they really urk the hell out of me and its like.....like the drums hes using nowadays(e.g. since september) aren't... hitting right...just can't explain it....
