I'm still uneducated in reggae. but while playing GTA San Andreas I enjoyed the KJAH WEST playlist

especially that drum pan sound joint

Oh man, I loved K-Jah WEST on GTA San Andreas. ;) You know what, I'm gonna bump some tracks outta that shit now.

I Don't Know If You Guys Consider "Slightly Stoopid" Reggae...But I'm Really Into Them. Also Anything By Capleton, Simpleton, The Heptones Or The Maytones Is Great.

The 2nd video isn't really reggae, but it's more on the dancehall-ish side. Regardless, Sly & Robbie are the iLLest at whatever they do. <_<

Ya ever notice how reggae LPs from the 80's look a lot older than they should. I'll pick up one in the record store thinking it's from like '72 based on the cover and then I'll turn it over and it says 1984 on the back.

This may be off topic but Junior Murvin is dope, Roots Train, but that's a given. Dandy Livingstone is really good old rocksteady and shit.

Toots and the Maytals - The Funky Kingston. Great album! One of my all time faves..

Barrington Levy - Shine Eye Gal, Murderer, Youre Trying to Rule my Life, etc...

The Studio One LPs on Soul Jazz records are usually pretty hot..

Junior Murvin, great records!

I wanna find more Reggae artists who's records were heavily influenced by the Motown sound, or what I call "Soul Reggae". Love that sound!

I got this best of Trojan Records three disc set. Needless to say it's the ill shit. They've got Stevie Wonder and Bob Dylan covers. A lot of tracks with thick instrumentation, lots of horns, etc.
