Kinda off topic but I have never understood the Donuts hype. I understand the hype but I can't understand how people can rate that as Dilla's best work. That's probably my least favorite album.

Back to the topic.

The Unseen. No question!

I didn't want to say it but Donuts is one of the best. That album changed my whole view of music. I branched out after listening to that album. Started listening to music I never would have thought to check out a year before then. It helped me to appreciate all aspects of music and to keep my ears open. Shout out to Da Antidote. And the Unseen and Further Adventures of Lord Quas. If it weren't for Quasimoto, I wouldn't be on this shit.

Its good that people recognize donuts for being something creative artistic and a new direction etc... But I could reel off a list of equally if not more groundbreaking producers out today that everybody who idolises Dilla sleeps on.

I know Ill get hate for this but it seems to me that many people are more than willing to jump on the dilla train and skip passed all the insane talent that has since come fourth. Its crazy.
