the Highlighters Band song "the funky 16 corners" was played during an episode of the rob&big show.

The song played when they were at an amusment park playing games.

I couldn't believe it.

i love that song/ entire LP.

Probably one of the only decent shows to come up on MTV in the past few years.

I love that show. Not only because I skate too, but it's hilarious.
I only cut my TV on on Thursday nights now because of it.
I remember when Big Black was first introduced in the DC skate video.
Nigga was knockin' over Security guards, punkin' 'em, all kind of crazy shit.
I'm glad Robbie D.'s gettin' his shine on.

after spending 40 bucks on pro model decks ive come to the conclusion that a 30 dollar blank is the way to go, plus i can support the local skate shop

I think that's the new game called "SKATE" comin' out from EA Sports.
I'm lookin' forward to that one. All the Tony Hawk games got a little out of hand after THPS3 probably.

Yeah. If I skate any pro model type shit it's DGK.
but other than that I stick to the Active 7.63 shop decks.
throw some stickers on that shit up and i'm good!

i rep aws because they are out of dayton....plus they have dope designs (especially the older stuff)

this is oldschool....i don't use it a lot because i don't want to break it......A LOT of people ask if i want to sell it. otherwise i'd rather use blanks.

yeah the old stuff is great...the designs were done by Don Pendleton, he has his own design company now.

here are some shirts.

and i have to go with 7.75 too. with maybe a stencil on the grip, or a simple line cut.

yea i love those designs...like "brainwashed" and "exhault the new God." Some of the stuff was just 70's and late 60's pictograms but still dope.
