There are only two I can even tolerate and they happen to be by two of my other big faves:

We Can Work It Out--Stevie Wonder

Because--Elliott Smith

Other than that, I'm a purist. Beatles covers tend to make me cringe.

What what!?!

anyhow, in my opinion, i like them because they seem to represent the feeling of the band. They arent the greatest but certainly not cringe worthy, for shame cleaner, for shame.

Co-sign. The only good thing Michael Jackson ever did when he owned the Beatles catalog was to NOT let everybody do covers. Then he lost his cash, sold the publishing, yadda yadda yadda, and now we're up to our necks in them.

I'll just stick to the originals thank you.

Same here. The Beatles are too good to mess with, although I am particularly fond of Al Green's "I Want To Hold Your Hand."
