Most of the beats on A Lil' Light are nuts. My favorites are Washedbrainsyndrome, Yo' Soul, Money, Flowers, Lil' Black Boy, Falling... damn, that whole album is dope.

"Fancy Clown", but the bootleg version... "Pretty Blood". That part after the skit in the middle when the instrumental kicks in........... Classic! I actually perfer the bootleg Madvillainy. MF's vocals have much more energy and the beats sound more raw.
"One Beer" is another one of my favorites.

i doubt that lib will be here, but at the opening of this new electronic media building at my school there is gonna be a night with madlib, anyone from upstate ny (probably not to many of you) there is an event one night thats hypin madlib: http://www.empac.rpi...ala/madlib.html
worth checkin out, i don't think there is a bar, club, or anywhere that you can go around here and expect to hear anything outside the realm of possibly gettin lucky and havin some wu or somethin bump, so this should be pretty ill, and besides, i can't tell if they are sayin madlib will be there or not, slight chance, but you never know

AVERAGE is always the one to pull out on those that go "he's really sloppy, blah blah blah, real hip hop this and that"

it's so simple but so perfect

good call

i really rated the Zion I - Critical - Madlib remix beats as well for a long time

Dilla beat?

possibly. i'm just assuming it's madlib because it comes after "heavy" (which is produced by madlib).

on de la's "impossible mission" mixtape they have a track using the interlude after "the heist" & it's credited to dilla, so i'm "guessuming" that it's this way with all the interludes on champion sound, considering the beat / rhyme trade-off they had going on already. but if i'm wrong, dilla then.

also, thank you MetroidForAHead. i enjoyed the pretty colors.

I'm just thinking that because it was on a Dilla beat tape I have. but they make mistakes sometimes.

a few notes here:

- barring something catastrophic, both madlib and j.rocc will be at this in the flesh

- no alcohol will be served at the space

- come on over!
