word. the auto-save function is one of the things I really like about ableton. There was one time where it didn't work, but it was pretty much my fault, cus I didn't save for like 6 or 7 hours and ableton didn't manage to reconstruct all the shit I've done. Other than that, it works pretty well. Long story short: Frank, you should get in on ableton. hehe.

yeah, i should probably start investing $ into actual licenses and legit programs lol...up to this point i've only been using either my SP-303 by itself or a cracked version of FL Studio 9 with VST's and plugins i downloaded for free from various, possibly shady websites. fyi "expo" was the culprit in this particular instance, so watch out for that.

One time reason couldn't load a song anymore because of a "corrupt file" or something like that?
Still don't know what that was about... it prevents you from loading samples that are not compatible...
Cubase is pretty solid too... have a cracked version... sometimes have to start it up twice...
Lately it's getting more glitchy... but my gear's also getting olderand I'm doing heavier and heavier projects.
I takes a while to get over a loss... but after several years you realize you can then make a way better track than the lost one was...
