Put the record in the sleeve/jacket. stack a shit load of bookc/heavy shit on top and let stand for a day or two or three or four.
Take a hair dryer, turn it on (decent heat), point it at the record and evenly distribute heat onto the record....THEN, go to method one above!!
That can actually work pretty well.

yeh...I was j/k about the archives. I tried once to unwarp by turning the oven to 250 and placed vinyl between 2 big books...it came out completely ruined. Ive heard of placing vinyl between 2 pieces of glass and puting it out in the sun for a few minutes. If you live in LA today would be perfect cuz its HOT! and thats the double truth ruth!

I'm imagining this blazed record junkie running around the kitchen like a madman with some rare Bob James LP melting while the two books burst into flames....too funny man.
You can actually make a cool little change bowl/ashtray by taking a pot, putting wax paper around the bottom of it and placing it upside down in an oven, then placing a record on top of the upside down pot and turning on the heat.
The record will droop down around the pot and make this cool record bowl thing.
Then just take that joint out the oven, and get it off the wax paper covered pot.
Happy little trees!
I did a show at Pseudo Studios in the DKNY building in NY, and some stage light was soo freakin' hot that it warped the living crap outta' my liquid swords album....what a tragedy.

The legendary promo only version of Take me to the Mardi Gras w/no Bells! Me and Biz got the only 2 copies pressed.

Do you realize how much cooler this makes you than everyone else on this board!? No bells!? Wow, tell me you have had some serious fun with flipping one copy with and one copy without bells? Eh!? eh!?? EHHH!?
So, was that why you were like "rare bob james lp"?
At any rate, thats sick. And, last question when you say Biz, are you talking about THE Biz?

Yeah.... No for realz tho I dont have that record...but Biz might, check the story here.
I play around alot on the boards but my intentions are always in the tone of fun. Not too many rare Bob James records tho. At the same time its not like I be pullin' BJ1 or BJ2 everyday from the dollar bin.

I remember reading an interview with Mr. Walt from the Beatminerz where he said he would put the 1200s outside (in the sun), put the wax on, drop down the dust cover and let it spin... I believe he said it would totally warp while the dust cover was down, but once you pulled it up it would flatten back out...warp free
