Anyone get to the free madlib / Egon / Benji B show in London last night ?

The queue was ridiculously long and didn't manage to get inside.

Pictures have emerged this morning of Mos Def on the Mic over Madlibs set! Apparently Doom was hanging around too.

Gutted It was such a small venue. Better luck next time for me.

^ Factmag just posted a link to beatnicks twitter page, so would be he who is trolling. Wouldn't think he would be trolling us tho. Hope not, as this little tidbit would be huge...if true!

Anyone else know what else Madlib is doing in London? Just wondering if its to tie up the record and also legal/contractual aspect, and then agreed to a last minute show while in town. Wishful thinking I know, lol.

Saw Mos Def in Brighton last week, I read a review of what he was like from 2 years ago, nothing has changed, if you like seeing someone do mouth movements over their favourite beats, not play any banging classics, and do what he feels like doing, and by that, I mean not doing anything for about 15 mins of the set, apart from dancing along. Feel free to waste your hard earned cash, he will thank you for spending your money, but more importantly for your time, Really ?!! well why was my time wasted. Dude has fallen off big time, and does not deserve the praise that we give him way to often.

Well, Madlib and Four Tet played at the Warehouse Project - DOOM didn't bother to show up (Shock!! Horror!!). Great night though...

Haha its Yasin Bey dude! Don't get it mixed up!

I'm laughing because my mate's missus was working with him for a long while as he was singing with the orchestra that she was the head of. I still like dude, but he did not come without many quirks, she said. He was a really nice guy as you would expect.

I never got into mos def. Iv never heard a song by him I liked, but I have also never looked very hard. He always seemed weird in a retarded kind of way. Is there a song or anything that could shape a better perspective?
