[JH-Music]

I am not sure how to add my song to the list. I have uploaded it to my page so could any one explain it to me what exactly I need to do

I have read the FAQ and am still failing to grasp this simple task

Does anyone know of any good tutorials for mixing and mastering hip hop? I'm using headphones so I find it very hard to properly mix and master my tracks:/

Go to the beatbatle page on soundcloud https://soundcloud.c.../beat-battles-1
Click on the button that say "join", go back to your soundclud page, and under your uploded tracks you have the button "add to group" that way you can add that track to a group you had join, in this case, the soundclod page of this battle.

Another question to the moderators of the battle.
I noticed that some users post the beat the first days, and when the beat go down cause other user post new beats, they delete the beat and re-add to go up in the page, I think to get more views, For me its not honorable, dont know if its allowed.

P.S: Sorry for my bad english, not my first languaje, even not my second language too.

You're very right sir, that's been a problem for a long time. No easy way to stop it, other than to say "you're wack if you been re upping, knock it off cause you're whack"

Some people re-post their beats for this reason (don't know why. Seems cunty to do such a thing) or if they wanted to fix their mix... if fixing the sound was the case then they should upgrade to sc lite. You can update your sounds and still keep comments/plays that way without moving it around. No matter how low on the list a beat is, it should be seen regardless... otherwise us BB members aren't doing our job of checking everyone's shit out to prepare for voting

The problem is for the people who try to listen all the beats. This is my case:
Monday: Ok I had listen to all the beats I got a idea of what are my favorite ones.
Wednesday: Lets, check the new beats....damm I listen to this before, next......doubledamm this beat again?
So I cant really be sure when i reach the zone of the beats I listen last day, unless I get to the very bottom.
At the time pof the votes, a beat of bottom will has 2 o 3 listens from me and a "moving beat" will has 2 o 3 legit listen to me, plus 2 or 3 misleded listens cause "I listen to this yet?"

Posible solution: UserA post his beat if he is the first he put a comment on his own beat at the very beginning "nº1"
UserB add beat, he check that before him UserA its nº1, so he put a comment on his own beat "nº2"

Allow change the beat for "tecnical reasons" might end on change the beat "cause everybody used same part of the sample as me" and things like that. I think, without the posibility to change the beat after post it, makes you work hard on get the beat right the first time and will be a way to improve our skills.

Of course, all of that are just opinions, sugestions of to improve and became closest to my idea of a perfect beatbattle.
Respect to anyones diferent ideas how it should be done.

i think you guys are referring to my entry, haha...so let me clear the air a bit. the only reason i re-upped the track was because on the first mix i had completely forgotten to filter out all the bass in my cuts- so with all that bass + the other bass line that was playing, the beat was rendered pretty much unlistenable in the low end. it was a rookie mistake that won't happen again- and had i known that sc-lite accounts allow you to edit tracks like ras was saying above, i probably would have upgraded sooner (i'm going to when the new year starts anyway). so yeah, sorry about that. hopefully the Stones Throw gods won't rain too much of a wrath down upon me

...oh, and i'd also like to thank ras again for explaining how to embed your song in the mb's- yet another rookie mistake by me haha.

I will admit (as the track is still up ) I am guilty of being a cunt I guess, I've re-uped a beat, but then the intent was not wanting to waste anyone's time, not wanting to hurt anyone's ears, Back to perspectives I've always thought a cunt was a politician, or child abuser, or is that a fucking cunt! not a beat maker re-uping a beat, and I'm pretty sure it's cuntish not cunty( just for future reference)
