ouch tough!

a madlib beat for a rap over, probably keep it simple and classic with throwback rap attack

and

instrumentals,
theme for ivory black with ynq

will probably change my mind in an hour

i'm not a stupid fuck, i just find it funny how many madlib dick riders will fall in love with anything the guy shits out. which is kinda what i explained in my originally more flippant remark.

haha yeah i know i know. but you gotta admit, he has a lot of talent. just to get a better perspective, what do you think he's come out with that is'n't so great?

hahahahha

Madlib is overrated.

cat's still amazing, but no one can live up to the hype y'all create for him.

cooks in hate mode... seems like you've been doubtful of great/ pioneering artists as of late (doom too).

let me put it another way. the only thing that has really impressed me since madvillian has been "monkey suite".

That's a favourite. Remember getting that and hearing the original a while after. That was when I found out Madlib looped alot.

the base on good morning sunshine is insane. first time i heard that in a club (it was before a ST concert, the only time i ever heard quas in a club) i was blown away by it. sounds so much better on a high end setup.

but yeah, impossible to say which one i like best :)
