Thank Baby Jesus for this podcast. I've been waiting with bated breath for some new material from Karriem and this sounds good so far.

Also, I don't think this thread will get too big due to the pathetic Madlib stans on this board who are reluctant to venture out of their little bubble. Yes, I'm trolling.

People here love Karriem because of Supreme Team.

Seriously, where the hell is that?

people here love karriem for three songs he did with madlib 4 years ago? i think there's a little more to karriem than that, and everyone here knows it as well.

so a proper supreme team release is doomed?

What I was saying is that a lot of people here may have heard of Karriem through Supreme Team. Before then you would've had to dig through the liner notes to see K.Riggins. We all love Karriem for his work on classics, such as Welcome 2 Detroit, and his rare instrumental tracks. His work with Erykah Badu, his wonderful drumming career (seriously? working with Milt Jackson? mad jealous), his work with Madlib 4 years ago, his kick ass mixes and so much more.

Speaking of liner notes, I remember the liner notes of "Welcome 2 Detroit" saying that there was a BBE instrumental joint planned for Karriem. That would've been dope.

the real question is... when will ST release the Miami Hella International set from 2008 in it's ENTIRETY? THAT was fire. ;)

Still awesome to hearing ANYTHING from Karriem Riggims aka KARRIEM RIDDIMS.

Your statement is bogus.

Madlib is nice with it... prolific I would say.
I get more hype for new Madlib music than K. Riggins... BUT to do the "there would be no" shit.... get off of it!

Do some research on K. Riggins

..now thats trolling!

I was too, twelve years ago, when I first saw that video. I don't know what type of asshole would cut that video so short denying us from seeing the greatness we just viewed, but the curse that I placed on that particular individual, will not be lifted until I do see the video in its entirety
