XXL sent out a tweet wishing The Madlib a happy birthday and then linked to their site. They put a picture of Oh No at the top of the article titled 'Happy Birthday The Madlib'. ST called them out and now its changed. It was an hilarious couple of minutes though. Probably the same intern that posted a picture of J. Rocc saying he was one half of Madvillain a little while back.

Ever thought they did that sort of shit just to get reactions from people like those who frequent these boards?

On another note, '73 Scorpios are definitely a special breed (if I do say so myself).

God imagine Madlib handling you a Beat Konducta goes electronic CD with some Cali bud to top the listening experience. That's what I need right now. I'm praying for some new DJ Rels shit or some 'EDM Konducta' shit being released.

He may be interviewed by french national radio in november. I hope they will ask him about this kind of stuffs like electronic, his love for prog rock or if J.Rocc actually did ghost-produce MV rather than if they’re will be a new quas anytime soon.

It'd be great if the interviewer skipped the whole Otis Jackson jr aka beat konducta, aka quasimoto, aka ynq...produced for badu, kweli and lootpack, but you only know him for Jaylib, madvillainy, and that one blue note cd. blah blah helium voice. Blah 90's...blah DOOM.

I hope they cover anything from 2009 on.

Anyone make it to the Paris show? Madlib had harsh last times he played in Paris, I hope everything was better this time.

And about that itw I mentioned before: it had been recorded today. The concept is pretty good and really suit the madlib : it is set inside the vinyl library of the french national radio where the interviewers give the artist a stack of vinyl from which he can pick a few of them and talk about it, what it means, why he likes it, how it influences his work, stuffs like that. And then there is a bunch of Q/A. From what I heard the first pick Madlib did was Chute Libre - Pénélope au Balcon. So he will actually talk about MV i think.

I'm pretty sure the "rumor" is just a reference to the Madlib/J Rocc mixup on that one music channel
