It was 7 years ago today that Detroit’s native wordsmith, Proof, lost his life senselessly. To mark and celebrate the day, the good folks over at Shady Records let loose of an unreleased track for our listening enjoyment called “Keep It On The Low”.
The track features fellow legendary Detroit native, J. Dilla, who drops some bars upon the silky smooth instrumental. .
