IS ANYBODY ELSE BACKING THE STEADY GANG?
Those dudes are some of the hardest working dudes out the game no lie and they put out real legitimate street shit. From Deep Hearted to Arms & Hammers and everything in between including their solo projects. That Stereotype record is going to be pretty nice too i'm already knowing

Funny, I was writing the same thing a few weeks ago

Prety much compare this

to this

Those Madlib beats really made a difference lol

I'm also feeling this new stuff though, hadn't heard of Statik before this

I know my opinion is unpopular around here, but I feel the same way about the Freddie + Madlib album except even Madlib's beats can't save Gibbs from being lame on the mic

Yeah...This is a SAS thread. You and GC do a circle jerk gripe session in another thread so we can ignore that shit easier.

Arms & Hammers was fairly nice. Looking forward to hear this, even though Statik Selektah is a huge step down from Madlib. Statik can make a dope beat, but a whole LP? No.

I agree to a certain extent, though the funny thing is that I thought he flipped the sample for Premium better than Madlib did when he remixed that Pharaoh Monch song on MMS13 (hooray for another unpopular opinion probably)

I def know what you are talking about and I can't imagine this even getting close to Stoney. I had that whole album on repeat most of the year it came out

Yeah, I have to say it was a surprise hit. I never was a fan of the SAS, but the album changed my mind. It's one of the best Madlib produced LPs IMO.

I'm really wondering how the Stoney Jackson LP would sound if X Zibit would still be a member of the SAS. Of course the album wouldn't have existed...but man, X Zibit on Madlib beats? Damn.

Just imagine X Zibit in the form of his At The Speed Of Life LP on Madlib beats. Classic.

I think I remembering hearing one track with X over a Lib track. Maybe it was a Liks joint? I'm pretty sure that combo has happened at least once.

^ he's saying they released it first, but then it found its way onto the net. A leak means it hits the net before release date.

I narrowed this LP down to nine tracks. It's not bad, I like it actually.

It really seems at though people just log in to complain. :P

Personally thought the Statik Selektah x Strong Arm Steady - 'Stereotype' LP was dope.
