The moment I hear the piano come in I knew it'd be a great song. Glad you like it.

I remember getting a dub tape of this album from a friend when it originally came out.
The album bounces ... never understood why the album got panned.

^LOL I would have never thought I'd see this here - not saying it's bad, I'm just surprised that people know about it.

Word! People just can't cope with the Soopaman Lova being so funky, dope and real...and a lot of them don't even understand the references, which is a key thing in getting the joke.

People, check this out, you won't be sorry. The lyrics of this track are all made up of vocal cuts. Yes, I know Madlib did a similar thing on The Clown (Episode C), which was only one part of the song though (can't deny it's one of my favorite Madlib songs, though).

yeah, the track i'm specifically looking for is #A3 - "Giorgio E Micol (Tema D'Amore)"...i wanted to sample it, but i can't even find it anywhere, let alone get a high-quality version of it. my Italian Culture Through Cinema professor is from Italy, she said she would ask her friends back home if they've seen it floating around anywhere in like thrift stores and garage sales, etc. over there. if i end up getting a vinyl connection over in Europe through this i'd shit my pants though  imagine just wiring money over to someone to have them send you records back in the mail...i know that's what Egon and Otis have done with dudes they know in like Uganda.

actually, i just checked discogs and noticed that there are some copies on vinyl available...go figure.

Yeah, I saw that on your link, so I assumed you were trying to track down a digital version. Amazon DOES have some physical CD copies from $25-$35ish. Probably worth it if you want to have a digital version as well?

Yes. Finally ordered my copy today. Been putting off listening to it until I get the record. Saw him live with his band and it was really awesome. And the show introduced me to Quelle Chris' music!
