      STMB   01/22/2017

Sorry for the outage. The board went down for repairs on January 5th, and we didn't expect to be out for a full 16 days.  STMB is using a default skin, as you can see, and that will probably be the case for a few weeks.  Meanwhile, the board is working better than it ever has before.

Wow, that mix is good. I've heard of Ras G; I know he's in the same vein as Flying Lotus and Samiyam. Never took any notice of him though. I think I will now. Sounds dope. Lots of reggae samples.

They're all mates though, aren't they? They have a similar sound though. Ras G sounds more like the FlyLo type, rather than the Dilla/Madlib type. Not trying to group people together, but...well, yeh, I'm grouping people together. Ras G is on the whole quirky, electronic sound, rather than the chopped up soul sample sound.

i ordered the new LP -- - looking forward to hearing it - -the artwork looks lovely

Same here. Waiting on that and FlyLo's LA EP 2x3. Does Poobah Records include mp3 download cards w/ their vinyl? More record companies should pick up on that.

I asked this same question to a Poobah affiliate. I don't know but I do agree...mp3 orders are 10 times more convenient.
