      STMB   01/22/2017

Sorry for the outage. The board went down for repairs on January 5th, and we didn't expect to be out for a full 16 days.  STMB is using a default skin, as you can see, and that will probably be the case for a few weeks.  Meanwhile, the board is working better than it ever has before.

Ha ha! I posted a Primus tune to sample for the beat battles a few weeks ago, people don't know how to chop their tunes up, I'm surprised no-one does use Claypool or Primus, with his ties to Jazz side projects and god knows what else, the only 2 samples I know to be used are the one above, this is the original

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd3rdke5T7c

and the 2nd is Infected Mushroom, tommy the bat. they used tommy the cat.

The bass sound is one of it's kind, Claypool is one of a kind, and I really don't get why people won't go near it, but you never know Madlib could of tinkered with a bass note or something that really wouldn't surprised me check the bass line intro on this. with sounds like this I can't see him passing it up, but then there's the sample clearence, could be another huge factor.
