I checked em out online and from what I could find (mainly: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bab%C3%A1_Ken_Okulolo) the band is likely Nigerian or generally West African. The language is likely Yoruba, Igbo, or another Niger-Congo language (there are many many many!). Such a sweet sound! West African beats are dope. If anyone's interested in hearing more recent music in the same vein, check out Amadou and Mariam, they're a blind couple from Mali who make really wicked music.

yup. monomono are from nigeria. the track is taken from their 'Give the Beggar a chance' album.
