dude, cis, my homie has finally penetrated my pallet with those damn belgian sours. hated that shit at first....lactobacillus or whatever.... farmhouse styles and whatnot. damn that shit is terrible at first. but it's actually amazing, i realized recently. also, cocoa i got a ten fiddy from '08 in my fridge right now just waiting to be drank.......love oskar blues stuff but all i can ever find out here is that stout. another thing, i was practically raised on hop stoopid!! pretty sure my blood is like 10% hop stoopid at this point..... you ever find pliny the elder out in rochester?

one of the guys i worked with was real into sours and they definetly have a place but im all about the hops, got to try pliny on a trade but most of that cali stuff is just a legend out in these parts. ive got a friend working in vermont whos been mailing me a steady supply of heady topper, WHAT A BEER!

I bet you can grab it on eBay.... But is it good, I mean, would it keep? And assuming it was not skunked by the time you got it... Would you ever open it?

Bitch of a question.

The West Coast has the best beer. Enjoying a Special Reserve Porter by Firestone Walker as I type.

My first beer experience was Blue Bull Schlitz malt liquor 40oz

schlitz_malt_liquor_40oz__large.jpg

Went through a big malt liquor phase after that. Red Bull (anyone remember that?),

$(KGrHqIOKjQE5,U2(,3pBOjlRznZk!~~_35.JPG

OE, Mickeys, Colt 45, etc. Then I discovered real beer when I moved to Colorado with all the microbrews we have here. I pretty much like most beer that I've tried except for the Belgian ones or Heineken or anything that tastes like it. Can't stand Corona. Everyone calls it Mexican piss and I have to agree. Love me some porters and stouts. Went through a huge IPA phase years ago but lately I stick to Amber beers for the most part... they're just so balanced with the malt and hops.

One of my favs:

Edit,

Sorry, I thought the last post was about the Bitch's Brew. Please continue.

It could taste like piss and still sell. Tho its nice to think it was a nice, solid, ...wait... Got an idea....

They should have done two flavours. A blonde, or straight larger and a dark pilsner. Or something along those lines.

I've been on this shit lately.

old_rasputin_stout_0.jpg

Grifty pretty much introduced me to Firestone Double Barrel Ale, Sierra Torpedo, and Stone Brewery. I love good micro brews but i also love me a 40 of Ole E or St. Ides, box wine, fuckin...liberty creek $5 for a 1.5 liter....i think i just like being drunk.
