Anyone into taking photos? I started getting interested a few years ago. I'd like to do some CD cover designs possibly in the near future. So far, my fav kinda photos are of people/animals in natural situations. The only kind of photography I'm not into is studio portraits. But maybe that'll change.

I don't wanna make a post just for my images, It'd be cool if you guys post your shit too.

Tavik, I'm not sure who you're talkin to but I think it'd be dope if I shoot a conceptual cover based on a theme.

Theodore- I was impressed by your penitentiary and animal photos though I don't like zoos. The record fair images seem a bit dark to me tho.

Thanks, man. I agree about the record fair shots. It's partly because the lighting in the place sucked, partly because I don't feel like editing them again... Haha. The original shots were actually darker than they are now. I hate indoor lighting.

You have some really nice shots in your Flickr, by the way.

Snapped this earlier today-

During a TV interview for my chef friend, the workers from upstairs came down and checked out the scene.

I dabble from time to time, don't take it seriously. Any feedback would be cool as I don't really know what I'm doing...

Sugoi- You may be a beginner but you've displayed interest in geometry, composition, and architecture throughout your photos. It's just like making beats, the more you do it, the more you realize what you like and don't like. If you find you're inspired to shoot some photos you should def seize that opportunity. I'm a lot more satisfied with my photos now then I was back a few years ago. Same with my beats.

By the way, your beat "Shove your Job" (from a battle long ago) is one of my favs ever. I'd like to use it in some sort of video compilation if I get a chance.

Peace

Wow, that's sounds like a proper report card. I hear ya though, Japanese tourist is probably the best way - just always have a camera round your neck :D

Anyone here do street photography? IDK if it's just me but I feel pretty uncomfortable with it...

Cool, if you need a wav I'm sure I could fish one out...

Nikon D40 - seems pretty standard/ubiquitous. Got mine 2nd hand, 150 pounds...

Half my stuff is street photos. Like you said, I try to have my cam with me wherever I go because you never know when there's gonna be that 'magic' moment to capture. I knew a guy who would extend his arm out with the camera in front of random people's faces to take photos. They turned out really cool though. I don't go that far but I have no problem snapping strangers, unless if they're homeless or beggars because that'd be pure exploitation.

I was walking back to my guesthouse around midnight the other day and on the way I came across this-
