I have to laugh every time I read how much someone dislikes the JJ DOOM album. Y'all motherfuckers are asleep at the wheel. That whole album bangs from the front to the back from the keys to the kuffs! Give it a decade and you'll be slobbing it's nob.

JJ DOOM is certified gold without a doubt. some people ain't got a rapport with their melanin.
But stacking up against one another, I think I prefer the combo of the DD beats with DOOM verses on a whole.
I still don't entirely understand the purpose of Bout the Shoes, but other than that Keys to the Kuffs is a SERIOUSLY well tied-together concept album chock full of "Oh, yeah- NOW I get it" joints. I'm STILL bumping it in the car.

dont get me wrong. its a DOOM album. 100 times better than anything else.
the albums cover art, fold pack etc is so dope. philly finest killed it.
but a few things make me wish there were more tracks.on JJDOOM,. with NEWER production.
i loved the project, but i cant help but imagine how much better it could have gotten before it was pressed,.
starting with the lo fi instro on "banished" that track.s vocals are so dope.. but the instrumental , ,
imo should have been re-mixed re-mastered or just scrapped.,
seems like someone must have been in a unmotivated rush to compile something.

I LOVE "GUVNOR" SO MUCH AND NO OTHER TRACK GETS THAT SMOOTH.
CEPT MELENIN, THAT IS A DOPE TRACK. .EVER SINCE I HEARD THE BBC VERSION MONTHS BEFORE ON YOUTUBE,
I KNEW WE WERE IN STORE FOR A "SPECIAL" DOOM TRACK., & RETARTED FRENDZ IS SO DOPE
.(I ALSO ENJOYED THE THOM YORKE MIX)
ALL THE DOOM TRACKS ARE DOPE .
BUT BITE THE THONG, SHOES, ALL CAPS (WITH NO DOOM VERSE) SIBERIAN DOUBLED UP,
AND THAT LAST SONG ABOUT DIRTY STRIPPERS LOL. OCD DOOM
AND COMIN IN AT 41 MIN, ,WE WAIT SO LONG FOR DOOM JOINTS ,
I JUST HAD "HIGHER" EXPECTATIONS BEFORE HEARING THE PROJECT FINALIZED.
THE REAL QUESTION TO ASK MYSELF IS ...."DOOM?!"...

WHAT WILL HE DO NEXT?, AND WILL THE WORLD BE THE SAME AFTER?.
