Anybody know about synths? I've been eyeing the MicroKorg for a while. Thought it'd be a nice companion to my SP-404. Then I saw Korg had released the R3 with a rebate that puts it around the same price as a new Micro. But the Micro also goes for less on Ebay...

Any advice? Should I go for the improved R3? Should I not get a Korg at all? Where's the best place to buy?
Should I rob a bank and buy a Moog Little Phatty? ;)

You can definitely go for a Microkorg, that is some good piece of equipment.
But try it first so you know what you'll buy and if it is what you really want...

And, of course, if you can afford a Little Phatty, don't hesitate. It's some serious gear.
Probably the next one I'll get.

I don't know abou the R3, but if you can get a cheap Microkorg, go for it...

Sorry for the place to buy, i would give advices concerning Europe, but the prices (including the change $/) and the shippings won't make it interesting for you I guess...
