I'm so stoked about Stones Throw embracing lesser-known producers, it puts a smile on my face.

Looking forward to this album.

In the meantime I'm getting down to Breakfast with Ringgo while I make my dinner - Lettuce Risotto btw.

cool, I only have audacity on my mac at the moment and it doesn't seem to have that feature, i'lll have to install it on the wife's pc. Next problem will be finding the beginning of the session, as it's playing on a loop.

Yeah, I was going to mention I could record it if people wanted, but then I saw it in a loop and I'm too lazy to do that now  :P

Yeah, it's come in handy quite often. Dunno if it works with Mac stuff though, I've only used on PC

I finally managed to sort out audacity and get the Breakfast with Ringgo audio recorded. Thanks GC90.

I've had the whole show on loop almost non-stop since monday night, and it just gets better and better.

It has some kind of wierd universal appeal, we've had a few people round while it's been playing and folks who don't usually pay the slightest attention to the music I play have all been saying how much they love it. So strange, even the missus is into mndsgn and knx now.

Also managed to track down a copy of that jazz/rock LP they flipped for a reasonable price on ebay.

Worked out what it was despite somebody fucking with the camera angles to try and hide the sleeve.

They shoulda bleeped out the voices! Gotcha you sneaky bastards.

No problem, all in good time, but I've got a lot on my plate this weekend and I need to edit the audacity file to take out all the annoying little silent bits where youtube decided to stutter. Thing is, I'm in a very rural situation, and while my wireless connection is really pretty good, it'll never be as good as a hard cable connection. Unfortunately they'll never get cable to me where I am.

I'll do it, just don't hold your breath!

EDIT: listened to my recording, decided I'd recorded it way to loud, so I thought I'd have another go, but now it says the video is private. wtf! Anyone else having the same problem? Hopefully it's temporary cos that video has become the soundtrack for my kitchen life, not sure I can cook without it...

snippets and artwork are up http://www.stonesthr...mndsgn/yawn-zen

sounding really nice, I'm wishing it had dropped already so I could enjoy it along with the sunny weather.

By the time I get it it'll be rainy september here.

I'm guessing (hoping?) it's not a JJ sleeve though.

I usually like the mndsgn cut & paste visual aesthetic, but this feels a little insipid to me.

But hey, it's what's on the inside that counts, right?

Fat Beats has his Breatharian on cassette right now. Figured this would be a good spot to let mofukkas know.

Hopefully you didn't delete your recording, you can adjust the volume of your recording super easy

Adjusting volume in Audacity:

ha ha of course I deleted it, but in reality it was pretty fkd up and distorted, I'd obviously checked the levels during a fairly quiet part of the show, then went off and left it recording for 3 hours, I don't think any amount of adjustment could have saved the sound quality.

Anyway, I've been hassling Boiler Room with requests to reload the video, I suggest anyone else who can be bothered do the same.

Damn, I swore I wasn't going to get on board with the cassette revival and now that's the second one I've copped this week. Ringgo sure has a lot to answer for. Now I have to try and find something to play them on, I'm fairly sure my cassette deck is in my mum's attic back in england, so hopefully the junk shops here in santander haven't felt the demand yet and I can get one cheeeep like a budgie.
