Really digging the album that just released. Props to ST for streaming the whole thing, I've been relatively mixed on Vex for awhile and would have likely ignored this record, now I'll be picking it up on wax. Especially love the track Forget It, a whole album of this stuff would be amazing. Can see why PBW signed him now. Would be awesome if we could get a full album of Krista next.

Wrote more about the record on my site, though above is basically tl;dr version lol http://waxramble.com...n-album-stream/

Didn't see any previous Vex threads btw, sorry if there's an old one where thoughts on this album could have gone.

Yeah I hate to admit it but I wasn't very big on a lot of the stuff he was putting out until that Krista 7". Looking back, I suppose some of the Crash Course EP wasn't all that bad, but it just wasn't getting my attention. I actually really dig it when he's singing, was so perfect over the JP tracks. This album feels a little less "noisy" compared to other stuff I've heard and I think that's the best direction for his music imo.

I'm wondering if this is why ST decided to stream the full thing. Hopefully folks will pick it up if they're digging it, maybe ST will stream other stuff in the future if sales on this are decent.

Vex is the man and on this album he is in top form. If you ever get a chance to see him live don't miss it. He is a beast on stage!
