Seriously guys there are like 80 different Gangrene threads all over the boards. I know the OP may be new but everyone please take note, if you're going to make a new thread about a particular artist or topic it helps to search google first that way you can actually contribute to an ongoing conversation. The best way to search these boards is to search 'STMB' 'Gangrene'.

Gangrene is helping compose GTAV. Between that, Flylo's station, and the game itself I'm super hyped for it

New Gangrene track from GTAV

Also digging Gangrene's portion of the game's score, the music during the flashlight shotgun mission is badass

Damn someone already put up the full album, I haven't listened yet but will be doing that today probably

edit: didn't realize this was officially out, kept thinking later but that's just the vinyl delay.

Wish oh no would do more solo rap ish. Love his rapping and production in general. Just not that big of an alchemist rap fan, love his beats though...

listening to the album now, sounding good so far. Sean P feature to, would have to be one of his last recordings I would think...

Yeah I really dig Oh No on the mic, I agree a new solo album from him would be badass (Still go back to The Disrupt from time to time, awesome record). The track with Sean Price easily my favorite on this one, have had that on repeat the last few days.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this album in comparison to the last few yet but it's def a good listen.

if the whole album sounds anything like driving gloves, i can just skip it,

that video makes me mad and hatefull in so many ways,

mostly the guest spots and how corny/gimmicky they look on camera.

"hey guys ! lets just break stuff like angry children,  film it,  and call it a video ,

maybe we can get gta crossover money! "

u get what u put in

and u can really tell when something has a wrong feeling or when u are being tricked.

thats how i feel about anything action bronson/rockstar related .

same thing with the old freddy gibbs gta hype ,

didnt enjoy that clever brainwashing .

im shure a few tracks are ok on this,  but tbh im not even gonna DL it

new guilty sound fire tho

(30 min later )  ok yeah listened to the album on yt,

like i expected very mediocre and boring,

never been a huge fan of ohno,  the disrupt was all i bought,

i liked the roc marciano tracks that gangrene did on that ep.

only noteworthy milestones imo,  im shure that was cuz al tho

Ha, I actually wasn't a big fan of the Driving Gloves track myself but the video was ok. I liked the one they did for Vodka & Ayahuasca a lot more

Wish we could get a Professionals album someday :(

nah i've been here forever, and im not afraid of the ST fanboys,

i say what i feel,

i don't care about preserving some fake message board status.

your posting of 3 ohno videos proves my point

10 years in and a very lackluster career to say the least,

maybe he shouldnt have jocked madllb so hard like everyone here still does.

maybe tryed to be more original.

Yeah you're absolutely right dude. he should started sucking Jimmy Iovine's cock and blown the fuck up like Usher. What the fuck are you talking about lackluster career? Just because you don't like his shit doesn't give you the right to define his legacy, that's for history not any of us.

Personally, I like his Ethiopioum album because exploring other continents and cultures through music is part of the point of existence. His recent interviews in that Diggin' In The Cart were insightful, he's got an independent style form Madlib that you wouldn't be aware of because you're not a fan of his, thus you're in the wrong place. Not for whatever online credit, but because you can't have an intelligent discussion about the guy's music.

its just an opinion,  i think ohno is very boring.

so detach your chin from his nuts.

or get off my dick for stating my opinion.

in other words .no one cares......  point proven

very forgetable to say the least

HBSM has never dropped a wack song.
FACT,

I find HBSM to be super boring if I'm being honest, never been able to sit through a full release of his. But I appreciate other people enjoy his music so I don't go in to his thread and start flaming his shit or his career, calling people out for riding his dick or being fan boys etc. Just common curtesy. Not everyone likes everything. I actually agreed with most of your original post, the new gangrene is just O.K imo but I got mad love for Oh No outside of that.

sorry guys
sometimes i get real defensive when i feel attacked.
i apologize,

Accepted.

i dont see how anyone listening to what son is saying

could ever hate on his shit or even compare him to someone like OHNO,

its apples and oranges,

if you like or dont like HBSM that dont matter to me.

imho

homeboysandman>madlibs lil brother

PEACE.

My point was never to compare them as artists but to compare the situation, ie: my appreciation and respect of your love for HBSM even though I'm not really seeing the hype personally.

That's all.

Peace,

One man's lackluster is another man’s electrifying, that is why music an art is so fun because it is subjective. We are allowed to have opinions about it and discuss why we do and don’t like a certain style or genre or person or whatever. As long as you are respectful and suggest some sort alterative and you’re not just spewing malice all is fair.

Keep it Hip Hop Peace
