This is a 2007 interview with General Wesley Clark. He says that Paul Wolfowitz told him in 2001 that America was going to take out 7 countries in 5 years.

On a further note, why would have the Assad government used chemical weapons on its own people? They have everything to lose. They knew it would bring in America. They real trouble here is how much Iran will get involved, of course, they with Syria are one of the countries that the neo cons set up, as part of the New American Century policy, which Obama has kept and not dismantled!!! Its plan is to destabilize the whole region in order that they (America) lock up the region before any other super power can emerge and does.

Here is a nice news article. It claims to show the Rebels loading gas canisters onto launchers. Also, a video communicate between FSA fighters has one rebel saying that he is loading the sarin gas.

From what I see is that whoever did it, Rebels or the Government, really doesn't matter anymore cuz this article basically says any military involvement will lead to chaos

It certainly has the potential for chaos. Do Russia, China, and or Iran respond? Do they got drawn into an actual war? Doubhtful given America's clear military dominance. But what really shocks me is this is the agenda of the New American Century as drafted by Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Cheney and the gang. This is the Neo Con policy that (probably hoaxed 9/11), got into a war with Afgahnistan, killing probably 100s of thousands. Then Iraq. Lybia, now this.

Why not wait for the UN investigation's Washington?

Notice how Kerry in his speech never accuses the Syrian government but the media assume he does.

Also, sarin gas was found in May at the houses of al-Nusra members and there's even a UN report from around that time that says they used it: http://www.reuters.c...E94409Z20130505

Several specialists and analysts still think al-Nusra is behind the new attacks.

In the event of an "intervention". I don't think Russia, China and Iran will respond. Not just because they can't win, but because this will be spinned like they are supporting war crimes and all these countries can use a better international image.

Whole thing does have a crazy Iraq vibe to it, except this time they realise 'he's got weapons... He's got em' Wont be enough

Why not at least wait for the UN report? Then at least there would be the evidence, or lack there of, of who did it. This is The exact same (basically) steps the US and Britain took with Iraq. Going outside international law.

The US should just be like Canada and stay out of every ones business. But waiting is a risk as well because the attacks could continue and escalate eventually. Every option has its pros and cons previous articles has stated the Syrian Government has connections to Al Qaeda and if the US doesn't do anything who's to say Syria won't eventually hook up with them and create more chaos and this outcome could be possible whether US intervenes or not. If we do decide to bomb'em then we would possible be killing hundreds if not thousands of innocence cuz this quote from gEEchieDan's recent post

" It goes on to stress that launching an offensive act of war when the United States is not directly threatened with a green light from Congress is unconstitutional, citing Obama’s decision to order the use of “221 Tomahawk cruise missiles, 704 Joint Direct Attack Munitions, and 42 Predator Hellfire missiles,” against Libya in 2011 with zero congressional approval."

That's a lot of god damn fire power to launch at Syria.I guess what I'm trying to say is either option shits gonna get ugly. Obama's gettin' wreckless. But then again this is kinda what Hitler did to the Jews if not the same.

Quote from an article regarding the irony of an air strike:
"A military attack would invariably kill civilians for the ostensible purpose of showing the Syrian government that killing civilians is wrong."

Basically, the US and its allies are about to break international law. What kind of example are they setting? If China becomes the next great super power of the world I only hope they have more mercy and common sense, than the backwards, generations too old, thinking of the American policies.

My opinion is, that they are breaking the law, period. They are not willing to wait for the UN to conclude its investigation. They are not willing to allow legal, due process to occur. They claim to be a nation of laws, yet they do not respect the laws set up.

On a related note, anybody see the interview Obama just gave? I swear he looks like he is lying. He misspoke a few times, he never does that and, was making very sketchy eye contact.

Tea solves all. "Put the Kettle on Putin! Obama is coming over."

Russia has released their findings, that the mortar was "home made", and the gas had an agent that is not military issue. More MacGyver issue. Both traits of the rebels. Of course, there's no mention of this in the main stream media. This is world war three type stuff. Doubt it will hit that level, but it is scratching it.

That's the thing tho media will make you focus on a certain topic, Like how Miley Cyrus was all XXX at the music awards, and that's all everyone talked about while at the same time the shit that happened in Syria was being hidden by this story and I bet media is blowing up Syria to hide NSA.

A water product sold at Wal-Mart and Walgreens and intended to be used to make infant formula has been found to contain a chemical the international media describes as the same "chemical weapon" involved in the political crisis with Syria.

That's because TV news is kinda useless

Also this Syria situation is bad all around, there's virtually nothing we can do as a country to resolve the conflict without a ton of unintentional consequences.

Can't wait to hear the code name for this operation. They will have to try pretty hard to top "Enduring Freedom", or "Iraqi Freedom". "Desert Storm" was the illest tho. General Schwarzkopf in the house!

I never understood why the Governments supported the "revolutionists". After all a lot of them are Al Quaida members or members of other terrorist fractions. Why the fuck would you support those guys? You'll end up fighting them in a few years anyway.

America, Russia, China and the rest of Europe need to stay the fuck out of this shit hole.

It's all political. We can sit here and harp about punishing Assad for human rghts violations and war crimes but in reality we're just trying to use any excuse to topple the Syrian government. Syria's been causing a lot of trouble in the region. Unfortunately, the other side of the conflict isn't exactly the ideal bunch of 'freedom fighters' so it puts us in a weird spot.

Syria has been causing no trouble in the region. The issue with Syria is that they are allies of Iran. Granted, the reaction to the Arab Spring uprising were heavy handed, this whole cafuffel would have ended long ago, if the United States and Arab countries (who are Sunni, fundamentalists) were not funding the rebels. Rebels by the way who are in large part Al Quiada.

If you watch this video of an American in Syria, just traveling about in 2009, you will see what the country was like. Looks pretty good to me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qku9zFGRYE

Anyhow, the real reason for this mess is A. Syria's allegiance to Iran. B. the philosophies of the Neo Con think tank, A Project For A New American Century. This is the think tank we have to thank for 9/11(if you think it was a conspiracy), Afghanistan and Iraq. You can read about them here. http://en.wikipedia....merican_Century
