still rocking I'm to Blame, and even though it's still the most exciting of the previewed tracks definitely still looking forward to this.

no dis to Boardwalk at all, but they are no Broadcast. You're talking about a band who had a brilliant 10 years of recording. Lots of bands like Broadcast have clear influences and inspirations, but what Broadcast did with them was so artful and unique. Their influences never changed - you always knew what era Broadcast was exploring - and yet the sound of each album changed over their 10 years of releases. I guess you could say they're both "chill" but that's pretty vague. They really don't sound much like each other outside of the most general of descriptions, which would lump them both in with Mazzy Star and dozens of other 'chill' bands with female vocals.
This style/album makes me think of Broadcast's Tender Buttons Lp, only more chill...
