Kanye took an auto-tuned doo-doo all over that TNGHT beat.

Don't know ... I guess I'm just a fan of the "old 'Ye". I didn't really care for this album.

rap has always kinda sucked

the 'golden age' of rap is just a product of an entire generation repressing memories of the scores of awful rap that existed during their time.

I grew up in the golden age, 90-95. Those years produced some epic, and in my case, life changing music. I was in a generation if kids who believed in the culture because the culture, was pure so to speak. Meaning, what we were into, mostly Wu, Tribe, De La... The whole back pack culture, the rappers cared about what they were saying and the music was heat. It was interesting. It was new. It was original. It was cool. I rhymed.

Anyhow, I think the Puff Comb Syndrome really started to take old in the jiggy era, late 90's and for the most part, rap has never fully recovered.

What drives me crazy is just how bad a lot of this new rap shit is. No, I'm not an old cranky man, its just bad.

Rap = Commercial use of a person to make a company money.
Hiphop = The true movement containing all 9 elements.
Magna Carta is crap, basically more drival of how black celebs have cracked from the fame pressure, and that J- Zee is so strong and amazing.
Basically anyone you like that ends up on the radio or T.V just give up on, they give up on us at the end of the day for money and sales. Besides these 2 wack pop artists with their pop albums, there is loads of dam good stuff coming out at the moment lets put our focus to that.

Mangoes, is bang on though about the 90's wasn't just hiphop, everything went to the darkside.

Puff Daddy single-handedly killed hip-hop in my opinion. Got everybody and their moms trying to start a label under they boy's lable who just happens to be signed to a major label that couldn't care less and has absolutely no respect for the culture.

Weird thing is, he asked the dude, right before, "like you trying to get me in trouble, so I give you $250 000 or something?" Then he charged. Kanye is a dummy. Now the paps will be poking him even more. He is so hard nosed. Hasn't he ever heard that the branch that doesn't bend, breaks?

i just saw the video from the paparazzi :/

http://www.tmz.com/videos/0_d5ym35sa

you figure if someone was in the limelight for this long they would know how to ignore/deal with annoying cameramen.
that being said, if i was Not in the mood for someone to follow/document my every movement and word with pestering comments like "hey, i know youre pissed off, right!? so youre pissed off , but hey Hey, listen to me. can i get you to talk about why youre so upset"

even the baldwin has snapped on em

Yah, Bladwin is a bit of a loose canon himself. Yeezy has been saying to the paps for weeks, "don't talk to me. You are not allowed to talk to me or any one I know." A bit much. Both are ego maniacs. Paps are shot, but hey, wtf?

You think this is to be a part of the Keepin Up With The Kardashians plot Sunny? What about when he railed his head off the sign while walking out of some drive way a few months back. Hilarious.

Ps that shit about his second verse on New Slaves being the best ever rap verse is so misguided. That verse, is garbage. Yeezy got skills, no question but as they say, it is a fine line between genius and insanity.

Now don't talk to me.

Yeah I definitely am able to find the humor in Yeezy getting all braggadocio saying his verses are the GOAT. There is an interview with Fabolous on VladTV talking about Kayne and F-A-B-O tells some funny Kayne stories and how there is only one person on this planet with his personality.

Yah, there is another good one that has come out. He approached a fashion designer, who did not know who he was, as he told him his name was Kenny. Hilarious in itself. But anyhow, he asked the designer to help him do a micro capsule, a small line. It would consist of a t shirt, hoodie and jeans. It has been two years and it is still not complete yet. The designer himself has come out and said that he was a nightmare to work with.

Oh Yeezy.

Please do not think that K. West is talented. Do not buy into that noise. I have knowledge of how he works from back in the day. You would be surprised to find what is his 'style' and what is not. He is whack as the day is long. He needs to go away and soon.

I think people get their Hanes in a wedge on name alone. I enjoy Yeazus quite a bit. Some of it reminds me of P.O.S's last effort.

exactly. people really need to shut up about kanye already; we get it, you don't like him. no one's placing a gun to your head and making you like him...we live in an age where you can search up nearly anything with a couple keystrokes on youtube or spotify, so anyone still bellyaching about music sucking can just stfu and stop being lazy. go listen to old music if that's all you care about lol; i personally didn't really care for Yeezus, and i explained why earlier in this thread. but for a mainstream pop rap album, you gotta give the dude credit for having the balls to release something this polarizing in the current climate (although it wasn't very well executed).
