... and that's the key. I find alot of listeners (not calling anyone out, just a plain statement), want to rush to judgement about certain records, and look for immediate gratification on 1-3 listens.
Of course some songs will bang out the gate but some will certainly grow with time as you start to catch little details.

I also refer back to this story:

When Masta Ace's Slaughtahouse dropped, I had it scooped by a friend who was heading to USA as it has limited distribution back then. I was a massive Ace fan. I got the records, played it once, and HATED IT. I was so distraught. I put aside, telling myself I'll peep again later.

Few days later, gave it more listens - now one of my fave records of all time. Concepts, rhymes... all good. If you've been a fan fo said artist, just have some trust in him/her.

Low End Theory live in the BoilerRoom for the release of the album: http://boilerroom.tv/live/
They should be having one in NYC next week, I think.

it was pretty dope, i couldve done without his little samiyam impression though, whatever track it was, yall know what im talking about.

im pretty sure at one point he mentioned on twitter that there would be a flyamsam track on the new album so i think that was a sam collab hence those wobbly synths.

Im mad that every review of UTQC ignores 1983 and Reset as if L.A. was his first album.

'Ripped from the Diplo & Friends Show on BBC Radio 1 with Flying Lotus and Dismantle in the Mix (07th October 2012). Flying Lotus played out this massive unreleased track entitled "Flotus" in his own mix for the Diplo & Friends Show, release date unfortunately unknown. Beautiful tune.'

I think a lot of critics would argue that "Los Angeles" was so far ahead of those releases and was the album that established FlyLo as one of the most important electronic artists of the day that it basically rendered his earlier releases irrelevant. Not that I agree, but I'd be willing to bet that a lot of people think that way.

After a few listens I still rank Los Angelas as he best. I just feel he wasn't doing too much with that album.

Second thoughts are this album is sooo fucking good. I mean I thought it was good but I have listened to it about a dozen times and it is continually fresh. Whens the last time any one put out an album like that, I mean, besides Lady Gaga (jokes).

But why I am posting is, does anyone know who is singing in the track Me Yesterday? It lists no one, so is it him?

Fuck yah.
Man that is like my favourite song. He kinda has that Thom Yorke thing going on, a very fragile voice. Mind, Thom's song, does not sound like proto typical Thom Yoke. I have not freaking jizzed over an albu, so many times than since Endtroducing in college.

He saved the best song for last on Cosmogramma and I'd say the same about this one too (every song is gold on this album though imo).
Incredible album, easily my favorite of the year.

I saw him live last week. If he comes through your city do not hesitate to cop some tickets. One of the best performances I've seen in my life. Definitely seems like he was on some DOOM shit with this giant projector screen he stood behind all night, even had me thinking 'How do I know that's him. Oh! I don't...'

I'll still listening to this album and discover new things every time I hear it. Better than cosmogramma despite how classic Zodic Sh*t rocks! This new Flying Lotus makes you feel like you're flying to another dimension when listening.

@LuvBunz, I said the same, after a few listens, but after the dozen I am on now, I am blown away. Straight up. I am now convinced FL is the man. Unquestioned.

On a lighter note! Nardwaur Vs Flying Lotus!!!
