I am watching the DNC right now and I am chanting in front of my computer "Together... Together... Together"!
Reminds me...
I am wanting that vinyl to drop!

gEEchieDan, NickleBands -- We're looking into this right now. It doesn't happen when I play the tracks myself, but it happens if i click to the last 20 second, skipping to the next track. No issues with the WAV files though.

I have been on this for a while now.
I am getting pretty irritated.
Release the LP already.
I do not have a drip.fm account, and I damn well will never get one do to this release.
You lost my business stones throw.
You business model "anticipation and let them hang" has not worked me over.

Good riddance

Delco, The LP release date is October 1st. We'll actually have it before that, along with a little something extra that the digital & CD formats won't get.

You're not going to buy Stones Throw music anymore because you have to wait a few weeks to get an album? What have you done for the entire rest of your life when you've been waiting for albums to come out? Drip.fm gets stuff early as an incentive for people to get the subscription, but for those of us that don't have a subscription (myself included), waiting a few weeks isn't that bad.

In summary, chill out man. Go to work, do whatever it is you do in your free time, and "Together" will be out before you know it.

From the write up in the ST newsletter it seems like it will just be in the ST store. But JJ or Bot would know more than I would.

After repeated listens, Alone got extremely boring. loops got old quick. Together sounds more experimental and funky but idk if I should fork out another 20.00 to find out. Too bad I can't download before I buy.

For me it was one boring listen. I'll take Delco's advice and listen to them as 'Alone Together' once I cop the 'Together' vinyl.

To be totally honest the way this album was marketed is kind of a fail. From the outset I thought that one would be a hip hop record and the other would be a jazz record, which to me seemed like a cool idea. I guess I was just confused by the first few announcements though. I was talking to Primate and he made the point that Riggs is kind of copying the Beat Konducta steez by releasing one album as two. I just feel that as a first official solo album this could have made a bigger splash if it was one cohesive project released on one day of the year.

Both albums combined are a definite good listen ... my only gripe after repeated play is that some tracks are kind of long and lacking transitions. Truth be told at times you'd get lost in the looped samples. If both albums were released as one album with shorter joints it would have good LP value.
