From what I've gathered I believe this MMS #13 vinyl might just be a preview of things to come from the actual #13 release. Because one side is selections from #12. Don't take my word as gospel though this is pure speculation.

I understand the same. As it says on the ST store : « Medicine Show Volume 12 & 13 is a single LP containing eleven tracks from Medicine Show 12: Raw Medicine on side one, ten tracks from not-yet-released Medicine Show 13 on side two. »

Just copped mine on hhv btw!

It's all vocals. Remixes and (I think) some original tracks.

So when are these shipping?
On the photos/info page it says Expected ship date: December 12.
On the Store page it says PRE-ORDER. EXPECTED SHIP DATE IS DECEMBER 13.

About the ship date: Aside from the copies Madlib got just in the for Denver & SF shows, the rest are coming later, shrink-wrapped with the "FBI"-looking sticker on top. We will probably have them well before December 14, but we can't commit to an earlier date.

hmm...

went to the LA medicine show last night and copped the vinyl. Here's what i can make of the tracklist from the Black Tape side:

1. Jadakiss - Run
2. GZA - When the Fat Lady Sings
3. ???
4. M.E.D. - ??? (sounds like a new track)
5. DOOM - Melody
6. Nas - Nas is Like
7. Organized Konfusion - Somehow, Someway
8. ??? (Interlude)
9. Talib Kweli - Get By
10. LMNO - ???

Also, M.E.D. threw out some cds (of MMS13 i assume) to the crowd

Most amazing show of my life.

J.Rocc started with an amazing hour and a half set with a whole mess of dilla breakdowns. He then transitioned into Madlib with America's Most Blunted.

Madlib proceeded to spin an hour long set full of new Georgia Anne, M.E.D., and Professionals. Plus he played out the entire Madvillain Avalanche track. The stun gun sample on crazy bass is incredible. Played a handful of beats (Mad said they were "old"). Played a couple of dope psych tracks and followed them up with some of his Rock Konducta stuff. He also played out some dope Black Soul tracks and African and Brazilian tunes. A real dope set.

Freddie Gibbs then came out and threw down like a champ even though he was drunk and blazed as hell. He spit Deep, The Ghetto, National Anthem, and Thuggin'. After that Krondon of SAS came on stage and spit Cheeba Cheeba and Best of Times. He also did Phil's parts since, in his words, "Phil took a weed nap at 4:30 and he still ain't woke up". M.E.D. then came out and did his thing on Classic, Where I'm From and a few more. Somewhere in there J.Rocc convinced Madlib to rap The Red. Bananas.

After all the rapping J and Madlib had about another half hour to fool around and spun some things together. Madlib played out his crazy Stereolab beat from that Sir Michael Rocks track and Guilty remix before he left the stage. A little head nod and salute and he was gone.

J then spun some tracks from Some Cold Rock Stuf and that was it.

Side One (raw medicine) tracklist:

1. Inspectah Deck - Speaking Real Words / Raekwon - Firewater
2. Q-Tip/Busta - For the Nasty
3. Royce Da 5'9" - Buzzin
4. DOOM - Roc Co Flow
5. J Dilla - Let's Take it Back
6. Madlib Remixes 2 Intro
7. Musiq Soulchild - Caught Up / Ghostface - Love Session
8. AZ - Never Change
9. Interlude 5
10. Phil Da Agony - Watch Out
11. Interlude 6
12. The UN - D.O.A.
13. Sadat X - Feel It

Had to post it cause I was so happy with the selection off of #12. Really separated the wheat from the chaff for the LP in my opinion.
and Side Two? DOPE.
The DOOM and Talib Kweli joints are probably my favorites.
not to mention those Ms. Cleo prank call samples.
guess it's fairly obvious by now that #13 will be, as suspected, mainly a remix album very similar to #12. Don't know what that MED song is so I guess it could have a few originals tossed in there? maybe remixes of stuff we've yet to hear?
