DOOM in a recent interview:

I’m working on the JJ DOOM record, I have a bunch of instrumental tracks that I’m putting out, I’m going to test out the Masta Ace joint on there.... I got a whole bunch of stuff I’m gonna thrash on these giant Nash Money Sneaker Speakers!”

WTF is the JJ DOOM record? Plus i'm actually surprised that the Masta Ace thing wasn't all BS to be honest.

Also...DOOM...Stop working on other ish other than MV and S&C, lol

Jneiro Jarel and DOOM are supposedly working on an album together. Masta Ace though?

That DOOM sneaker speaker is a pretty damn interesting concept

Ive long since stopped believing in TBA projects by artist, at least till i see it...especially for doom and lib. What happaened and what resonated with me is an article i read about doom; this guy has a wife and kids of varing ages from college to infantry. He is very much a family first kind of guy, which can be a reasoning behind the doomposters.

You have to think. These people have lives, families and obligations that come first over their passions. These people have kids to raise. Dont forget. Enjoy the music you love and be happy about the finished projects they complete.

Lol was just gonna post that i'd put it together (JJ = Jneiro Jarel). Beat me to it Mach :)

When are the HHS Boards coming back btw & congrats on the Op: Doomsday lyrics in the re-release. Must be cool to get a shoutout on a DOOM release, lol

Anyways...So we now have these to look forward to:

Madvillain Sequel
Swift & Changeable
Essential Elements
JJ DOOM
MA/DOOM --- MA over herbs apparently...Sigh...Why not new beats? Grr :(
Adult Swim/DOOM
Thom Yorke/DOOM

I still want the new KMD to become a reality after years of waiting, lol

After reading that article it starts to make sense... When DOOM was in Australia he was rocking Pumas and at the show I went to he was making some comment after the line from Meat Grinder about the old tan Ellesses that the kicks he was wearing "are still kinda fly". And now a word from our sponsor, what was that about the Frankenstein monster?

Haha, man those sneakers look awesome! A bit of the nerd in me kind of hoped it would be a collab between JJ Abrmas and Doom, a series of 7 album they would put out, and nothing would make any sense, and none of the chords would resolve.

only DOOM album I care about as of now is Swift & Changeable. Ive been waiting for years and years for this joint. Sadly I seriously doubt we're ever going to see it. Shame, that album would have been epic

Chances are that if you are thinking about when this album should be released, and how it will sound when it is; you will be disappointed.

PS- As a loyal fan, I am getting a bit bored at the merch. I would, of course, rather enjoy more hearing and subsequently paying for new music than doom shirts, doom shoes, doom etc.

Is a new Doom album over Doom beats too much to ask for? I'm losing hope. I wonder how that speaker system sounds?

that speaker system looks mad gay and doom looks like a fucken sell out posing with it.. i thought he didnt like taking pictures... i feel like doom is milking his image, i bet he has some grown men feel like they need a doom backpack to acompany their doom lunchbox, along with a doom coloring book while they read doom lyrics

Jneiro Jarel and DOOM would be his most anticipated colab for me, even tho Shape of Broad Minds - Let's Go ft. MF Doom is my lest favorite track of the whole album, I could see them making some crazy outerspace raps.

Thanks man. I'm hoping to work on the next Madvillain record too (hint hint JJ!) - The HHS boards may never come back, but I'm hoping it does one day. They apparently still have all the old data so if they ever come back they'll have all the threads and posts. Fingers crossed cause I miss having access to the DOOM lyrics forum.

Yeah out of all the announced projects I'm looking forward to that new KMD album the most also. I'd like someone to ask him about it in an interview to see what he says about it. Even if he recorded some songs and not a whole album it'd be cool to hear what he did. There was supposedly Lil Sci and some other dude that was going to be a part of it, IZ-Real I believe (the dude on Pop Quiz), maybe even ID 4Windz from Scienz Of Life. The concept of the record was very intriguing.

I've always said an album with Mr Fantastik would be awesome.
