Im posting this question in THE CRATES section because I want to know what all you producers and people with extensive record collections do for money. How do you keep your producing habit up or maybe you make enough money selling beats. Anyways, I'd like to know what jobs you guys have and if you find yourself with enough time to dedicate yourself to your music.

i have a day job. i work at a customer service. answering calls. i've only worked there for a week, but it's chill. problem is that you get tired from working which cause creative suffering. i still make beats though.

I work as a regulatory analyst for the NASD's American Stock Exchange division... it pays well...but I don't have a ton of time to make beats.

i sell beats to get money for more records and equipment then i make more beats to sell. so my advice is to get down on some productions and really push the product. this doesn't work for everyone tho.

i make decent money writing for my boss.........

i work and go to school so often that i no longer have enough time to go crate diiggin....so i take the lazy route and buy reissues from now-again records, ubiquity records, and bbe...........other rare digs, finds, samples are found just by bumping into it.

does amoeba berkley still have any good finds?

i work fulltime in a psychiatric hospital. but outside of work i seem to spend a lot more time digging for records then making any beats--- ive gotten well slack on that aspect. i still love to get my fingers dirty in the crates everyday though. money permitting.
