SP1200 simple, easy and the crunch on that thing is dope.

MPC is cool, I like the Linn processor. If I could put the two together, that'd be bananas, but that's basically what an MPC60 is supposed to be like.

when I was into hardware it was the Ensoniq ASR-X with the updated OS and Urban Dance card in it tied with the Yamaha TG33 and Yamaha TX81z.

I guess I would need something to sample too. well anyway the MPC2000XL is my fav because it is the shit hands down. it is a great pleasure to work with and the results are desireable.

I'll go with the 2500 since I just got one a few weeks ago. Before that, all I used were Roland (202, 808 EX....) boxes.

This 2500 is a beast. Taking me a minute to wrap my head around all it's capable of.

I use the mpc1000, 2000, 2000xl & 3000.

Haven't messed with the 2500 or the 4000 yet.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be the 3000 because it doesn't seem as stiff to me as the 2000xl. The way the kicks hit on that 3000 is unmatched in my opinion.
