Usually whenever I have a strong emotion I make music, happy or sad, it doesn't matter. Putting some of that emotion into music usually gives me perspective on how that emotion is affecting me and also helps stabilize me when I'm not doing all that great. Other than that, I love competition musically, I love learning and most of all music is just what I've always done to express myself whether its been through my beats or playing trumpet, its just what I do.

I had a shitty night last night, and made [in my opinion] the best beat I've made thus far in life... and I used to think good days inspired me...

when doing illustration work the thing that inspires me most is looking at people's work that is infinatley better than mine and having a looming deadline. that last one always gets the job done.

You know what inspires me the most? The 1970's. It was such a wild, experimental, and endlessly creative era. The music, the films, the art, etc. Whenever I experience a piece of that era, whether it's listening to some Tomita or watching Taxi Driver, it inspires me to be more creative, more experimental with my stuff.
